Inspired by the design of a 1939 roadster, the America EV 39 Roadster Golf Cart is an all electric golf cart built with purpose and reliability in mind, crafted from scratch and put through strict quality control to ensure that every cart is of utmost quality. Its maximum speed of 24mph qualifies the 1939 Roadster Golf Cart for street legal certification – meaning it can be registered as a low speed vehicle (LSV) and driven on public roads with a posted speed limit of 35mph or less. It can also have a hand release, easy to use golf bag attachment installed, along with multiple other accessories and customizations.
The 39 Roadster’s quality begins in the engineering of the car – built from the ground up.
- The 1939 Roadster Golf Cart is assembled in the United States with completely new parts.
- Frames made from rugged and corrosion-proof all aluminum I-beams.
- Long lasting 48-volt system to ensure maximum range; industry leading Traction batteries managed by the SEVCON computerized controller, allowing drivers to travel approximately 20 to 25 miles on a single charge.
- Hi-output 17.5 peak horsepower AC motor is powerful enough to move the 39 Roadster at speeds up to 24 miles per hour and yet it is efficient enough to deliver a higher range than the industry average.
- On-board 12-volt converter that provides an in-dash power source to charge a cell phone or laptop computer.
For added safety, the 39 Roadster Golf Cart has been outfitted with standard headlights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, and is the only golf cart to feature a standard 4-wheel braking system, which includes the use of front wheel hydraulic disk brakes.
With all of the standard features that have been engineered into the 39 Roadster, America EV has reset the bar in the Custom Electric Vehicle industry to a level that has never before been seen, and that other companies can only hope to come close to.
